本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了五条新菜（野村康太 饰）是一位对制作传统日本雏人偶非常感兴趣的高中生，立志成为一名“头师”。然而，由于他的兴趣与同龄人不同，新菜在学校里感到孤独，被其他同学疏远。喜多川海梦（永濑莉子 饰）是学校里的风云人物，外表光鲜亮丽，但实际上她是一个痴迷于cosplay的爱好者。当海梦发现新菜在制作人偶服装方面的出色能力后，便请求他帮忙制作cosplay服装。随着两人的合作逐渐加深，他们的关系也在悄然发生变化...
